The Strip is Disneyland for adults
The Las Vegas Strip is an All-American road show, home to the most famous hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. With famous spots like Paris, Treasure Island, the Venetian, Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace and the MGM Grand, it’s no wonder that the strip is the most popular destination in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Strip houses entertainment, bright lights, other-worldly architecture, and the city’s trendiest clubs and nightlife. It’s a Disneyland for adults, a place where fun and fantasy meet. Watch Elvis impersonators or avant-garde performances by Cirque du Soleil, or try your luck on a slot machine. There’s something for everyone in Las Vegas.
Believe it or not, Las Vegas is all grown up. Gone are the days when dingy casinos, cheap steaks, penny slot machines, and topless shows were all “Sin City” offered. They say, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” But you don’t need an alibi. or an excuse, to visit one of the country’s fastest growing metropolitan areas. Even for those who don’t gamble, this artificial desert oasis whimsically caters to all tastes, with outrageous nightclubs, luxuriant spas, superstar chefs’ restaurants, bling-bling boutiques, skyscraping thrill rides, and even educational museums and wildlife preserves. The Strip featuring glam casino resorts is the city’s spine, while old-school downtown still captures a vintage Vegas vibe.
Need a way to get around? Well, the Las Vegas Deuce on the Strip, also referred to as The Deuce, is Las Vegas’ mode of transportation for both locals and visitors along the famous Las Vegas Strip. Run by the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), the Las Vegas Deuce is probably the least expensive way to sight-see along the Vegas Strip.
The Deuce runs up and down the Vegas strip, 24 hours a day from the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas all the way to the Mandalay Bay, while stopping at virtually every hotel and casino along the Las Vegas strip.
Deuce on the Strip stops are located about every quarter mile in each direction of the Vegas strip and are marked with signs or by bus shelters.
Simply put, there is something for everyone on the Las Vegas strip and the people who work there really want you to have a good time. With transportation and safety covered, you won’t have a care in the world as you traverse the world famous street that has been the number one visited location in the world for the past twenty years.
